Tumblr was deemed too full of inappropriate content to be allowed to be downloaded from the app store.
It has this “inappropriate” problem because of rampant porn ad bot accounts. The old solutions were bots to detect image sets with nsfw content, the automatically enabled safe mode, tag filtering for mobile, and wide takedowns of nsfw bots based on words used (that’s why their messages are full of numbers and symbols, to evade this)
Tumblr released their own bot supposedly capable of wiping the ad bots, but it’s taking down many popular blogs, possibly due to sheer amounts of posting or sheer amounts of ad bots in their notes. This bot was likely rushed to be put out.
You are more likely to be accidentally flagged if you post external links, as well. If your acct is taken down you CAN get it back, but it’s a pain. E-mail tumblr support for help with this. It takes down side blogs with the main ones.
I’ll be halting posts for about a week or until this problem is fixed.

the link takes you to a pretty convincing tumblr login page……but it’s fake. the url isn’t tumblr’s main but rather that blog. so don’t put in your information, just block and/or ignore
I just received a message exactly like this. Word by word but from a different user. Glad I didn’t clicked on the link. I always get cautious about these stuff since it could be a vírus u.u
i still think a lot of u are blowing it out of proportion. tumblr said themselves they r working on getting the problem fixed i really dont think they would shut down the entire website just cuz the app got removed
If you’re worried about your blog, here’s what you do:
Make sure you know your password and have access to the email tied to your Tumblr account
If your blog is terminated, content deleted or whatever it is Tumblr’s fucking up at the moment, contact Tumblr support and tell them what happened. They should be able to restore your blog, they have done so before in other cases where blogs have been shut down on accident
…dare I say veterans being the public image of PTSD in america is deliberate propaganda to make us sympathize with soldiers who kill people overseas ? way more women have PTSD than men, and a lot have it from sexual and domestic violence, not combat.
also it’s not like people who propagate this image give half a shit about veterans with PTSD. Giving homes to the homeless or universal mental healthcare would be something these people would do IF they gave a shit about veterans.
